The original J. Wilbur Hickory Smoke barbeque sauce. Created by J. Wilbur himself in the 1980’s, this Memphis-style gourmet barbeque sauce is Gluten Free. Its sweet, smoky flavor makes it the perfect pairing for ribs, steak, salmon or chicken.
Gluten Free, J. Wilbur's Applewood Smoke BBQ sauce is tangy and sweet. This sauce has the perfect blend of spices and is great on any meat or vegetable.
J. Wilbur's Spicy Hickory BBQ sauce is a spicier version of our flagship Hickory Smoke BBQ sauce. Many people feel that the extra spices make this a more balanced BBQ sauce than our Hickory Smoke version. This product is Gluten Free and offers a balanced blend of complex flavor and sweetness with a tangy finish.
J. Wilbur's BBQ sauce variety pack includes each of our delicious Gluten Free BBQ sauces. The Hickory Smoke BBQ sauce is our flagship product and was created by J. Wilbur himself. We also include the Spicy Hickory BBQ sauce, which is a spicier version of our original Hickory Smoke. Lastly, we are including our newest Applewood Smoke BBQ sauce which is a little sweeter and tangier than our other sauces. All of these sauces are made with the highest quality ingredients and are produced in a GFSI certified facility.

Using Smoked Oak Flake Salt beautifully captures the smoked oak flavor used when grilling Santa Maria Style. Santa Maria BBQ originated back in the mid 1800's in the Santa Maria Valley area of California. Local ranchers would host large BBQs for their vaqueros (Cowboy ranch hands) friends and guests barbecuing meats seasoned with garlic, pepper & salt over earthen pits filled with hot coals of red oak which grew in the area. This resulted in a smoky, hearty flavor still being considered as one of the best to this day. We have captured this wonderful flavor so all you need to do is invite your vaqueros, use this terrific blend and enjoy some culinary history.

Blended with granulated honey which creates a wonderful caramelizing effect resulting in a nice crust helping seal in the juices, smoked Applewood sea salt, California sweet paprika (you deserve the best) for a smoky flavor, garlic, onion & chipotle flakes which give a nice bit of texture and slight heat what can we say but...wow! This blend is ideal on the grill or in the smoker particularly with pork, beef & chicken. We love this in the slow cooker making pulled pork. Good on vegetables, corn on the cob, grilled asparagus and, guess what....sweet potatoes. We have even mixed this with cream cheese or sour cream to make a terrific dip! Mix with butter, olive oil, honey or yogurt to make a paste to marinate meat. Mix with butter to make corn on the cob come alive!
